Daniel Bragança left Sporting just over a month ago and revealed that Franco Israel – the former Lions goalkeeper – was decisive in his move to Torino.

"He told me very good things, it was important for getting to know the team. The manager [Ignazio Abate] explained the defensive side to me and gives us freedom in attack. It is a new adventure. It is the first time I have been outside Portugal. I am certain I have come to a good city, it is calm."

"The way we train here is different, because at Sporting we played every three days, we hardly trained. Here there is more time, but the sessions are very intense. The players give their all, you can improve," the 27-year-old midfielder told Torino's club media.

With Cristiano Ronaldo as his idol, the former Sporting captain has played three matches for Torino and has been earning praise in Calcio. In any case, the close of the transfer window was not easy.

"The final hours were stressful, whilst waiting for the deal to go through," he concluded.
